About

I build software and run it: from a server nobody has set up yet to the screen someone uses. I'd rather own all of it and understand how it works than hand half of it to a black box.

The route here wasn't straight. A degree in finance, a startup of my own, then a datamatiker degree. It means business problems like billing, insurance and public data don't scare me, and I know the code is rarely the hardest part.

Right now I'm technical lead on LeagueOS, and I build the tools I work with in the open at thinglaunch.

    Technical lead · LeagueOS

    A data platform for Danish bowling, built with its founder.

    • Took over a Python application that couldn't boot, and brought it to production.
    • Run it on a Hetzner server set up with the first version of vpsthing: I own it from the server to the UI.
    • Beta testers are happy with it; the founder expects the full rollout late 2026 or early 2027.

    ServiceNow developer · internship

    Reporting and issue intake for Danish municipalities.

    • Prototyped changes to the reporting and issue-intake flows alongside my supervisor, who approved them and put them into production.

    Founder · a data platform for insurance brokers

    Denmark's public business registers, inside the CRM an insurance broker works in.

    • Built it from requirements to working software.
    • Learned where products really get hard: the complexity outgrew one person, selling it needed connections I didn't have, and compliance got in the way.

    The platform under my own sites. An Elixir host that serves every site from plain files, on a small NixOS fleet declared in one repository. No dashboards: a change is a commit and a deploy.

    Every credential I have in one encrypted file, opened by one key I keep by hand and handed to each program as it runs. The servers decrypt their own at boot; nothing sits on disk in plaintext.
